Published on: November 7, 2013
Mayfield Village harkens back to a simpler time when the village setting was the hub for all of its residents, their needs and activities. This new urban neighbourhood has all of the amenities important to family life right at your doorstep, while still maintaining it’s intimate and friendly small-town charm.
The history of the area and the name, Mayfield Village, dates back to the early 1800’s when Mayfield Village was a small hamlet of just 50 people with a brick schoolhouse, a general store, a post office, a blacksmith shop and a hotel.
Countrywide Homes has several models, sizes and styles available. From urban and classic towns to semi-detached homes and a variety of single homes to choose from, Mayfield Village has something for everyone. Whether you’re a new couple just starting out or you’re looking to move your family into a larger home, you’re sure to find a home that meets your needs.
The heart of the community will be unique live-work residences creating a modern urban streetscape feel that blends seamlessly into the neighbourhood where residents can stroll the main street and stop for a coffee at the local café, shop and pick up your dry cleaning, all within walking distance of your new home.
Mayfield Village is located just East of Highway 410 and will extend from Dixie Road to Bramalea Road and from Mayfield Road on the northern border to Countryside Road at its southern border. The first phase will consist of 630 homes with Fall 2014 closings.
Trails, parks and schools are plentiful in the development, ensuring that a family’s growing needs are all met within Brampton’s newest community.
