Community Barbecue Held By Aspen Ridge and CountryWide Homes Brings Neighbours Together
Published on: June 18, 2014
Aspen Ridge Homes and CountryWide Homes held an incredibly successful neighbourhood barbecue at their Nobleton site, King Country Estates, in mid June. The builders believed that this was a superb time to have this growing community come together and meet one another at a casual, fun and entertaining event.
Featuring a smorgasbord of Italian inspired barbecued delights, the food was a real showstopper and had people coming back for seconds, and sometimes, even thirds.
And speaking of showstoppers, the King Country community was privy to a performance by Jonah the magician and his street magic; we’re talking about card tricks that would make you pinch yourself, he was really that good, and all of the kids got a kick out of his slick slight-of-hand.
For the big kids, an incredible espresso bar was provided by Espresso Bella, and kept everyone going for the entirety of the event; it was a great area to start a conversation and meet neighbours over a delicious coffee or refreshing granita.
Carlo Coppola was also on hand and dazzled the crowd with his wonderful renditions of English and Italian pop hits, while Jungle Jack created some really cool balloon characters for the kids.
The barbecue was held by Aspen Ridge and CountryWide Homes to help create new friendships and build community spirit. They builders are hopeful that a real community will be the result of the event and the relationships formed would last for years to come.
If you’re interested in living in King Country, there are some homes still available. Lots range from 50 to 79 feet and start from the 800,000s, with a new release of 26-foot Executive Links starting from the 600,000s. King Country is growing quickly, and it’s the perfect place to raise a family. The community is thriving and quickly establishing itself as one of Ontario’s foremost places to live, play, learn, and entertain.
Visit the King Country Sales Centre with the kids this weekend and take a look at the community for yourself; odds are you’ll want to be a part of it, and make it a part of your family’s story.
